Poddster Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Poddster Pte Ltd (“Poddster”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By booking, paying for, or using any Poddster services, you (“Client”, “you”) agree to these Terms.
These Terms apply to ALL services, including but not limited to:
- Studio bookings
- Podcast recording
- Video production
- Editing
- Consulting
- Branding
- Training
- Custom projects
These Terms, together with any accepted quotation, invoice or written agreement, form the entire agreement between you and Poddster.
1. CONTRACT FORMATION
A binding contract is formed when:
a) You sign or accept a quotation, OR
b) You make any payment, OR
c) You commence using Poddster services
Oral agreements are not binding unless confirmed in writing by Poddster.
2. STUDIO BOOKINGS
2.1 Booking Confirmation
Bookings are confirmed only after:
- Full or deposit payment is received
- Written confirmation from Poddster
2.2 Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable
- Rescheduling is subject to availability
- No-shows are fully chargeable
- Last-minute changes may incur fees
2.3 Overtime
- Sessions exceeding booked time are charged per additional hour
- Overtime is billed in 30-minute increments
2.4 Studio Rules
Client agrees to:
- Arrive on time
- Respect staff
- Follow safety instructions
- Use equipment responsibly
Poddster may terminate sessions without refund if rules are breached.
2.5 Equipment Damage
Client is responsible for:
- Any damage caused
- Repair/replacement costs
2.6 Food & Drinks
Food and drinks are restricted to designated areas only.
3. RECORDINGS & CONSENT
Client grants Poddster permission to:
- Record audio/video
- Capture behind-the-scenes content
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Poddster may:
- Use footage for portfolio
- Marketing
- Website
- Social media
Client warrants they have permission from all participants.
4. SCOPE OF SERVICES
Scope, deliverables, and timelines are defined in:
- Your quotation
- Written agreement
Any change in scope:
- Requires written approval
- May incur additional fees
- May extend timelines
Poddster is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Client indecision
- Late feedback
- Lack of approvals
- Changing requirements
5. FEES & PAYMENT
- All fees in SGD unless stated
- Deposits are non-refundable
- Invoices payable by due date
- Late payments may incur interest
- Services may be paused for non-payment
Client bears:
- Bank charges
- FX fees
- Taxes

6. NO REFUND POLICY
All payments are non-refundable once services have commenced.
This includes:
- Consulting
- Branding
- Production
- Strategy work
- Time spent by staff
No refunds for:
- Change of mind
- Business decisions
- Budget issues
- Dissatisfaction without objective breach
- “Lost time” claims

7. CLIENT OBLIGATIONS
Client must:
- Provide clear instructions
- Give timely feedback
- Attend sessions
- Act professionally
Failure may:
- Delay project
- Increase cost
- Void goodwill adjustments
8. CONDUCT POLICY
Zero tolerance for:
- Harassment
- Threats
- Bullying
- Discrimination
- Abusive language
Poddster may:
- End sessions immediately
- Terminate services
- Withhold refunds
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless agreed otherwise:
- Poddster owns all pre-existing IP
- Client owns final deliverables after full payment
- Poddster retains right to showcase work
Client warrants:
- They own rights to supplied content
- They indemnify Poddster against IP claims
10. CONFIDENTIALITY
Both parties agree to keep confidential:
- Pricing
- Processes
- Business info
- Project details
Except when required by law.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Poddster’s total liability is strictly capped at the fees paid for the specific service in dispute
Poddster is NOT liable for:
- Lost profits
- Lost opportunities
- Lost business
- Reputational damage
- Emotional distress
- Time spent
- Indirect or consequential losses
No claim may exceed invoice value.
12. INDEMNITY
Client agrees to indemnify Poddster against:
- Third-party claims
- Content disputes
- IP infringement
- Legal costs
- Damages
Arising from Client’s use of services.
13. NON-DISPARAGEMENT
Client agrees not to make:
- False
- Misleading
- Defamatory statements
About Poddster, its staff, or services:
- Publicly
- Privately
- Online
- Offline
Breach may result in:
- Service termination
- Legal remedies
- Loss of goodwill settlements
14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Before legal action:
- Good-faith negotiation
- If unresolved in 14 days → Mediation in Singapore
- Only then may court action proceed
15. FORCE MAJEURE
Poddster is not liable for delays due to:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Pandemics
- Power outages
- Internet failures
16. TERMINATION
Poddster may terminate services for:
- Breach of Terms
- Non-payment
- Abusive behaviour
No refunds after termination.
17. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by Singapore law.
18. CHANGES TO TERMS
Poddster may update Terms anytime.
Continued use = acceptance.
